Many of my brides like this style of wedding
cake - it is like a stacked cake but
considerably taller. The most important design
factor of this wedding cake was that the sugar
flowers had to be the darkest of burgundy and
the sugar leaves and piped dots were
individually hand painted in gold. Square shaped
wedding cakes produce more slices than round
wedding cakes and are easier to cut. 30cm, 25cm
& 20cm (12" 10"& 8")square fruitcakes together
gives 300 servings ( 150- 200 in sponge) while
the same in a round fruitcake produces 250
slices (125-170 in sponge)
