Dear Franziska, I just got back from the US after the wedding and honeymoon and just wanted to give you a quick update . . . the cake was a success! It finally made it to St Lucia after flying from Geneva to Manchester and then to London before boarding the Antigua - St Lucia flight, and it arrived in one piece, which is normal considering it travelled strapped in a business class seat the whole way! Everyone was amazed by it, and we even had other guests and staff at the hotel coming and admiring it and taking photos of it!! It was delicious and went down a treat. Ed and I wanted to thank you again so much for all of the effort and hard work that you put into this, it was a true work of art. If you ever want to move into other cake decorating - let us know - I'm sure we can come up with plenty of other commissions for you!! Take care.
