Hi Franziska

After I called you today, I tested the address you gave me and was filled with glee when I saw my cake on your website. I was so excited, I phoned my

mum in South Africa and told her to visit your website too. Thanks so much for the beautiful cake. So many people commented on it and are in

awe of the work that went into it, as am I. I think the idea of incorporating the 'invitation scroll' on the sides was one of my more brilliant

ideas (!), and the way you successfully 'transplanted' them was skillful and masterful. Thank you so much for helping to make our day run

smoothly. The memories will be with us forever.

Dear Franziska,

We're just back from our honeymoon and had to write to you straight away to say very many thanks for the beautiful cake. We were so pleased when we

saw it! The flowers were exquisite and the whole three tiers looked every bit as good as we had hoped - even better, in fact. Everyone told us that the inside

tasted just as good as the outside looked. We haven't got to taste it yet, as our guests scoffed the entire lot that was cut! So it must have been good! We

have one tier left, though, so our time will come this week. Thank you so much.

Dear Franziska,

 

I just got back from the US after the wedding and honeymoon and just wanted to give you a quick update .

 the cake was a success!  It finally made it to St Lucia after flying from Geneva to Manchester and then to

 London before boarding the Antigua - St Lucia flight, and it arrived in one piece, which is normal considering

 it traveled strapped in a business class seat the whole way!

 Everyone was amazed by it, and we even had other guests and staff at the hotel coming and admiring

 it and taking photos of it!!  It was delicious and went down a treat.

 Ed and I wanted to thank you again so much for all of the effort and hard work that you put into this, it

was a true work of art.

 

If you ever want to move into other cake decorating - let us know - I'm sure we can come up with

plenty of other commissions for you!!

Hello Franziska,

Just wanted to thank you very much for the beautiful cake you baked for our wedding. Everyone

commented on how lovely it was and how good it tasted. I loved the delicately made sugar flowers

with the graduated colouring and you got the calla lilies just right. I loved them so much I

actually dismantled all the sugar flowers (even from the dummy) and put them in little boxes in my

hand luggage so they wouldn't get broken!

         First of all, apologies for taking some time to pen this letter of thanks to you. We're now back

from our honeymoon and had the most wonderful time. The wedding was so beautiful and we had the

best time.  I can't stress enough how beautiful we thought the cake was!

Although we'd been e-mailing each other and therefore knew how the cake would look, it was just so

much more beautiful in reality. The tiny red and yellow Roses were just so beautiful. You were also so right

 about the bottom tier being more than enough for the guests.

 I've saved the top tier as per the tradition, and Tomas and I are nibbling away on the second tier-it's

so delicious. Thanks again for the your wonderful work.

Franziska I must apologise for taking so long in writing to thank you for making my beautiful wedding

cake - I don't know where the time has gone since I got back from my honeymoon. The cake was fantastic, just what I wanted and there

were plenty of praise from my guests. Chris could not believe that you had made the flowers out of icing -

it must have taken you ages. We had a wonderful wedding day and now have some beautiful wedding

Dear Franziska,

We just wanted to say thank you for the breathtaking yellow daisy cake you made for our wedding at Kew Garens on the 16th June.

All of our guests thought it was absolutely beautiful and the perfect cake for a summers day. They though it was a terrible shame to have to cut into it, as did we, that was until they tasted it however! Since then we've been inundated with requests for extra portions to be sent across the country and it's quite a fight to keep some for ourselves!
